Membership Eligibility

To be eligible for membership in the Glenarden American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) Unit 275, you need to be the mother, spouse, sister, daughter, granddaughter, or grandmother of a current member of The American Legion or of a deceased veteran who would have been entitled to membership in the American Legion; or a female veteran who served during any of the conflicts stated on our homepage. In addition, eligibility also applies to step-relatives.

There are many benefits associated with membership in the Auxiliary. To name a few, Auxiliary Emergency Fund, a discount prescription program, dental plan, and eye care; travel accident insurance, discounts on moving expenses and car rentals; and discounted long distance phone and credit card services.
